Scope of this policy
This policy covers innermost.us — the IM Info reporting portal. It does not cover any third-party site linked from these pages. Where an external site is linked, that site's own privacy policy applies to your interaction with them, and this policy has no bearing on how they handle your data.
IM Info is a general-audience reporting site. It does not host user accounts, does not run a comments system, and does not process payments. That narrow footprint means the amount of personal information the site collects is small compared with commercial services.
What we collect
When you visit any page on IM Info, our hosting provider automatically logs the IP address of the request, the user agent string of your browser, the referring URL if one was sent, and a timestamp. These fields are logged for security, abuse detection, and aggregate traffic analysis. Server logs are rotated on a rolling 30-day cycle and then deleted.
If you write to our editorial address, the email — including any content you place inside it and any attachments — is stored in our mail system. We retain editorial correspondence for as long as it is operationally useful and delete it when no longer needed. Sensitive information should not be sent to editorial email; if you need to communicate confidentially, contact us to arrange a more secure channel.

IM Info uses essential cookies only. There is no advertising cookie, no cross-site tracker, and no analytics beacon on this site. See the cookies page for the specific cookies used.
How we use information
Server logs are used to diagnose faults, block abusive traffic, and produce aggregate readership counts. Editorial correspondence is used solely to respond to and act on the enquiry you sent. We do not use collected information for advertising, do not build reader profiles, and do not sell data to any third party.
Sharing with third parties
IM Info uses standard commercial hosting infrastructure and a standard commercial email service. Those service providers process the underlying server logs and email contents on our behalf under their own privacy commitments. We do not deliberately share personal information with any other third party, and we do not sell data to marketing lists.
If required to do so by an Australian court order or a formally issued law-enforcement request, we will comply with the specific narrow scope of that request. We do not voluntarily disclose reader information to any party outside that formal process.
Retention
Server logs are retained for a rolling 30 days and then deleted. Editorial correspondence is retained for as long as it is operationally useful, and deleted when no longer needed. Backups follow a 90-day rotation, after which they are overwritten.
Your rights under the APPs
The Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 give Australian residents rights to access personal information held about them, seek correction of inaccurate information, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if their concerns are not resolved. Those rights apply to information IM Info holds about you.
To exercise any of these rights, write to the editorial address on the contact page and describe the request you are making. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
This policy is dated at the top of the page. If we make a material change we will update the date and, where the change is significant, add a short note describing what changed. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
